It’s so exciting to be able to share this piece with you. It’s deeply special to me, and I hope just a small part of it resonates with you, something I haven’t gotten too personal with until now. Some things take time, they are not meant to be rushed, and I have always trusted the process more than the pressure.
What does Tour L'alto mean?
“Verso L’alto” means "To the heights" in Latin, and was a personal motto of
Pier Giorgio Frassati, the direct inspiration for Tour L’alto. An Italian Catholic Saint, known for his deep faith and love for the mountains. For him, mountain climbing was not only a physical adventure but also a metaphor for his spiritual journey and the pursuit of higher ideals.
The Matterhorn, a favorite of his, became a symbol of Frassati’s adventurous spirit and his commitment to a life of faith and virtue and it directly inspires the symbol of Tour L’alto.
At its core, Tour L’alto is a reminder to continually reach higher, not for recognition, but out of purpose. It reflects how I approach both my personal and professional life: a belief that meaningful work is built through patience and intention. Every project, decision, and creative choice is shaped by this mindset: to aim upward, to grow thoughtfully, and to create work that honors what truly matters to me.
Sincerely,
